magic is a duo consisting of ramon bauer and andi pieper, co-leaders of
the mego label along with peter rehberg, with whom they did the now legendary
"fridge trax" (mego 001) released in 1995.gm's favorite playgrounds are software exploration, ski pistes and motor sport circuits.
their first album "frantz" (mego 010) was released in 1997 and has been praised for its crispy pop hits. four years after they returned with "rechenkönig" (mego 032), where they dive into unknown territories, unhuman yet visionnary. gm likes to play and doesn't forget to deliver some tracks to bring them back to earth: a brilliant demonstration of how to create a post-digital hymn with shards of popular music.
